Some
Biblical
wisdom:
1. Over and over and over again, Jesus stresses the utmost
importance of not merely asking for things but asking for them
WITH FAITH.
2. Remind yourself that God
wants you to believe---and
thereby get your petitions granted. "Without faith it is
impossible to please God" (Hebrews 11:1)
3. Peter walked on water until his faith faltered. You can do the
equivalent if you can learn to maintain your faith.

How to determine which
transformations you need
to undertake:
Listen to your conscience. See if you can develop a
back-and-forth dialogue with God, examining any negative
feelings you may have and comparing them to the attitudes
you know you "ought" to have. With regard to whatever
you're asking him to do for you, ask yourself, "How do I truly
feel about this issue, and how do I know God would rather I
feel?" Your answer is the transformation you need to
undertake. And remember, you very likely will find yourself
powerless against your natural feelings, but God can and will
help
if you sincerely ask him to!
1. Take a deep breath, RELAX, and "act as if."
2. With what little faith you have, ask God to increase or
restore your faith.
3. Sing hymns or Christmas carols or whatever gets you in a
faithful mood, and don't allow your mind to dwell on doubt.
4. For a spiritual shortcut, adopt the three-pronged approach
of forgiveness, submission (of your will to the will of the
universe), and faith.
