petitions granted. I am in the process of writing a book,

Prayers Answered. While the site is not a substitute for reading
the book, I hope to provide tips and suggestions here for your
use, as well as an advice service wherein you may write me
with your spiritual problems and questions, and I will suggest
solutions based on my own experiences in carrying on a
dialogue with the Almighty.

A Bit of Background
Ever since God revealed himself to me at a junior-high Bible
study when I was going on fifteen, I've been experimenting
with ways to get him to answer my prayers. That makes well
over three decades of experience, and I want to try to share it
in an effort to help you get there a bit faster than I did.

Is It Christian???
YES. My relationship with God had its basis in Christianity,
and the fundamentals of what I've learned I had to do to get
my requests granted come straight from the New Testament,
especially Jesus' teaching about the centrality of forgiveness
to getting one's prayers answered. And learning to love thy
neighbor is absolutely essential to the whole enterprise.
HOWEVER, while I am very definitely Christian, I have
never seen any reason to exclude other paths to
enlightenment. Therefore, Petitioning God makes use of
many other traditions of spirituality and psychology in
addition to Christianity. Jesus came here to teach us that God
is love, and wherever love abides, Petitioning God is also at
home.
