The purpose of this website is to share the knowledge I have
gained through years of petitioning God and getting those
petitions granted. I am in the process of writing a book,
Petitioning God: What I Really Had to Do to Get My
Prayers Answered. While the site is not a substitute for reading
the book, I hope to provide tips and suggestions here for your
use, as well as an advice service where you may write me
with your spiritual problems and questions, and I will suggest
solutions based on my own experiences in carrying on a
dialogue with the Almighty.

A Bit of Background
Ever since God revealed himself to me at a junior-high Bible
study when I was going on fifteen, I've been experimenting
with ways to get him to answer my prayers. That makes well
over three decades of experience, and now I'd like to share
what I've learned with anyone else who's interested. (What's
more, if you try it, you'll find that personal communication
with the Living God not only gets results but also brings great
peace and deep joy.)

Is It Christian???
YES. My relationship with God had its basis in Christianity,
and the basics of what I've learned about getting requests
granted come straight from the New Testament, especially
Jesus' teaching that we must forgive others if we want God
to answer our prayers. And learning to "love thy neighbor" is
absolutely essential to the whole enterprise.
HOWEVER, while I am very definitely Christian, I have
never seen any reason to exclude other paths to
enlightenment. Therefore, Petitioning God makes use of
many other traditions of spirituality and psychology in
addition to Christianity. Jesus came here to teach us that God
is love, and wherever love abides, Petitioning God is also at
home.
